Tagalog Movie.

A vicious storm suddenly arrives at the small town Angelita and her family reside in. Angelita tries to come home from school, but the storm overtakes her. Seeking shelter in a small hut, she waits for the storm to die down. In the aftermath, she finds herself separated from her family. So she decides to look for them on her own.

In the course of her search, Angelita is adopted by two different families, each with a problem that Angelita is able to help them with.

She is first adopted by Don Serafin, to act as his daughter Nellie’s personal maid and companion. Although Nellie is tied to her wheelchair, it is her father’s excessive strickness that is really tying her down.

Angelita is then adopted by Chona, a former bar girl trying to find her own happiness with Vicente, the new man in her life. Vicente is a rich man, and he falls head over heels for Chona, and they eventually marry. But with Vicente’s death, his children accused Chona of illegal and immoral acts to prevent her from taking their money.

How Angelita solves the problems of these people is the very magic of this movie. Angelita’s loving ways cannot help but touch the very lives of those she coms in contact with. In the spirirt of Christmas, this movie shows its’ true meaning; love, understanding and forgiveness.
